Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year! We certainly hope that you enjoyed the summer, and are looking forward to reconnecting with the Pope John Paul II family.
To our new Pope families, we extend a heartfelt welcome. We are happy that you have chosen Pope John Paul II High School as your school of choice for your son/daughter, and trust that you will get to experience first-hand why we call ourselves "Family." To our returning families, we look forward to seeing you again, and are excited to share some of the new changes that are being implemented in order to share information and facilitate two-way communication between the Home and School Association (HSA) and you, the parents.
The Pope John Paul II High School website will now include an HSA link on the front page that will connect you to a directory of the HSA Executive Board, committee members, and class parent representatives. Emails have been setup for the HSA and each class parent representative so that you can 'contact us' easily. This provides you with an easy way to make your concerns or suggestions known. The HSA page will also contain the HSA meeting schedule, meeting minutes, committee descriptions, information on upcoming events, volunteer opportunities for parents and students, as well as parents' prayer group schedule.
We are enthusiastic about the positive things happening at Pope John Paul II High School, and hope that you are too. We are committed to serving you the best that we can this school year, and truly care about what you think. Working together, we can make Pope the best it has ever been.
