Welcome to the Pope John Paul II High School website. I hope that you will enjoy your virtual visit, and that you will leave with a better understanding of the many educational and spiritual growth opportunities that are provided for the young men and women who attend our school.

For nearly thirty years, PJPII has provided a rigorous college-preparatory program of studies in a faith-filled setting. Some 5,500 alumni have gone on to further studies and now lead meaningful lives, often giving of themselves to make their communities a better place in which to live and worship.

Our school history has been blessed with the traditions and teachings of both the Carmelite and Dominican communities. Their efforts have been supplemented by many caring and dedicated lay members of our faculty, staff and administration. They have laid a solid foundation upon which we are building a brighter future for the current and next generation of students.

At Pope John Paul II, we recognize that parents are the primary teachers of their children. We are fortunate that so many parents have entrusted us to be their partners in this teaching journey. We appreciate and respect the sacred trust that they have bestowed upon us. Working together, we aim to fulfill our mission of communicating the Gospel of Jesus Christ by developing our spiritual, physical and moral gifts through academic excellence.

Today, we continue to be blessed with a diverse and talented student body that comes to Pope from 39 zip codes in Palm Beach and Broward counties. We invite prospective students and families to find out more about the Pope John Paul II experience by contacting our Admissions Office at (561) 314-2128 or bharbin@pjpii.org.

For those of you who are already connected to our school family, I thank you for your ongoing loyalty and support. I wish the best for you and for the family that is Pope John Paul II High School.

A former high school teacher and coach, he previously served as a high school principal and as a school superintendent in both public and Catholic school settings in Iowa, Missouri, Ohio, New York and Pennsylvania. He left his position as president of St. Michael’s Catholic Academy in Austin, Texas to become the first lay president at PJPII.
