Television Production Club
Television Production Club
The Television Production Club provides interested students at all grade levels with the basic fundamentals and knowledge of television production and broadcast communications. Many members of the club take Television Production I and II as an elective in their junior and senior year.

Students are trained and become proficient in script writing, shooting video, digital video editing, digital audio editing, graphics, and in the overall studio production process. Members of the club are given an assignment to script and produce a variety of video projects throughout the school year. These projects when completed are aired on the school’s closed circuit television system. In addition, club members are responsible for the production of the school’s Morning Announcements on a weekly basis.

Members meet on the second and fourth Thursday from 3 – 4 p.m. Members will also participate in taping a variety of events taking place on campus, thus receiving “real world” experience of meeting deadlines and producing quality television projects.
