Financial Aid Information
Pope John Paul II High School provides limited financial assistance to students who are enrolled and, without such help, would not be able to benefit from a Pope John Paul II High School education.
 
To receive financial assistance, a family must prove a real financial need exists and the applicant must agree to volunteer 15 hours of service to Pope John Paul II High School during the 2008-2009 academic year. This is in addition to the student’s required community service hours. If you believe you qualify, you need to:
  • Register and enroll your child in Pope John Paul II High School.
  • Pick up the Private School Aid Service Financial Aid Form and a Service Agreement Form at Freshmen Registration, March 8th, 2008, or from the Finance Office in Carmelite Hall, 2nd floor, beginning March 10th, 2008.
  • The following three items must be completed by the deadline April 30, 2008.
    1. Mail the completed form to Private School Aid Service.
    2. Sign and return the service hour agreement form to the Finance Office. 
    3. Send a separate letter to the Principal, Sr. Eileen Sullivan, O.P., explaining the reasons why you believe you are in need of financial aid.
Private School Aid Service will evaluate the family’s ability to pay the tuition. They will send an analysis report of all evaluations to the school Principal. All analysis reports are strictly confidential.
 
Based on Private School Aid Service recommendations, the Principal and the Financial Aid Committee will determine how much financial assistance, if any, the family will receive from Pope John Paul II High School funds.
 
It is important to note that the funds for financial assistance are limited and applying does not guarantee receiving aid. Your application is only active for the current school year. You must repeat this procedure by submitting a new application each year.
