Financial Aid for Current & Transfer Students
Pope John Paul II High School provides a limited amount of funds each year for student financial assistance. During the 2009—2010 academic year, nearly 25 percent of the students at Pope received financial aid to help their families bridge the gap between what they could afford to pay and what the school charged for tuition and fees.
Parents of students who are currently enrolled at Pope may apply for financial assistance beginning on March 1, 2010. Parents of students who are transferring into Pope are eligible to begin the process of applying for financial assistance at the same time that they apply for admission. Applications for financial aid from the parents of currently enrolled students are due by April 16, 2010. Financial aid decisions for returning students will be mailed during the first week in May. Financial aid decisions for transferring students will be made shortly after the students have been accepted for admission.
FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment will conduct a financial need analysis of all applicants seeking financial assistance. A confidential report is then reviewed by the Financial Aid Committee at Pope. The Financial Aid Committee determines the amount of financial aid awards.
